Coach Sales Associate in Halton Hills, Ontario. Luxury retail role blending brand ambassadorship, client relationship management, and omni-channel selling. CAD $17.60–$22.00/hr, part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, maintaining adherence to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build and nurture lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice tailored to individual customer preferences
- Drive sales revenue through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and personalized product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling platforms, and social selling tools—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personalized sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Source new customers, maintain relationship management, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy and engagement on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash handling, inventory processing, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining exemplary service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and stock levels; adhere strictly to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently across all channels (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups)
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and managing product movement through the distribution system
- Assist teammates in functional areas as required to support overall store performance
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment that encourages collective performance and mutual support
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Receive and integrate feedback constructively; maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Proven knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS platforms)
- Competency with walkie-talkie communication systems and ability to read pricing and product release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environments with multiple competing priorities
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom with comfort climbing, bending, and kneeling
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Social media proficiency; experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills preferred
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of retail sales experience required; luxury retail background strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in place of strict tenure requirements. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, build client relationships, and perform in dynamic retail environments is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of retail education and professional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
