Coach Sales Associate position in Glendale, Arizona—part-time retail role with competitive hourly pay ($15–$19.50), comprehensive benefits, and flexible scheduling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on customer needs
  • Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales and increase lifetime customer value
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap processing, inventory management, merchandise replenishment, and visual presentation while maintaining service excellence
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies, point-of-sale procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking merchandise, and managing product movement and cycle counts
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support store-wide goals
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage collective performance and accountability
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities that advance Coach's values and culture
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or fashion
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, mobile devices (iPad/laptop), and basic computer applications
  • Experience with mobile POS platforms, walkie-talkie communication, and ability to read price sheets and release documentation
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A combination of relevant education and retail sales experience will be considered.
