Coach Sales Associate, Edinburgh – Temporary part-time (16 hrs/week). £28,080–£30,000 annual equivalent. Luxury retail experience required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to meet business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap procedures, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked; adhere to retail policies, POS protocols, and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist team members across functional areas as required
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage strong team performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Receive and respond positively to feedback; maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
  • Strong product knowledge and awareness of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS), and ability to read price and release sheets
  • Advanced English language proficiency
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced retail environment, including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
  • Experience with social media, live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or clienteling platforms is preferred
  • Comfortable with data acquisition and customer relationship management techniques
