Coach Sales Associate in Columbus, Ohio – Drive luxury retail sales through client relationships, omni-channel selling, and brand excellence. $15–$19.50/hr, part-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and well-stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail, with demonstrable knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS), walkie-talkie communication, and ability to read price and release sheets
  • Physical capability to work at a fast pace, regularly lift 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and perform activities including climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering in sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Luxury retail background (preferred)
  • Social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
  • Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)
