Coach seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Carmel, California. Deliver elevated luxury retail service and omnichannel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and creating an elevated, personalized shopping experience.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat purchase and loyalty.
  • Execute sales strategies including cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (short-form video, live-stream) to capture client data and close omni‑channel sales.
  • Perform daily operational tasks: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage inventory receipt and replenishment, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain floor and stockroom standards, follow POS and asset-protection procedures, and support inventory cycles and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Adapt selling techniques to business needs, manage multiple customers on the floor, and assist teammates across functional areas as required.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; receive feedback and continuously refine sales approach.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven competence with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop) and mobile POS systems.
  • Strong English proficiency required.
  • Social media-savvy with experience or willingness to engage in short-form video or live-stream shopping (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre within the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or credential in retail, fashion, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
