Coach Sales Associate position in Calgary, Alberta—luxury retail role offering personalized customer service, omni-channel selling, and competitive hourly pay of $17.60–$22.00.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining brand integrity
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice tailored to individual preferences
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and recommendations based on customer needs and product knowledge
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales and build clientele
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities to strengthen team performance and organizational culture
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors proactively, and maintain calm, professional demeanor in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad/laptop and mobile POS platforms
- Knowledge of fashion trends, competitor landscape, and luxury brand standards
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets, release schedules, and retail operations materials
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail preferred. A combination of relevant education and professional sales experience will be considered. Background in luxury fashion retail, social media engagement, live-stream shopping, or omni-channel selling is advantageous.
Education
No formal educational requirements specified; however, fashion industry knowledge, retail certifications, or sales training is valued.
