Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining elevated presentation standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, fashion advice, and tailored recommendations
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and consultative selling techniques
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video and live-stream shopping—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers through proactive floor engagement, maintain ongoing relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple concurrent customers, and adapt selling techniques in response to business priorities
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap transactions, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while adhering to service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently across purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support team performance
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage collective performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Receive feedback constructively, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience (luxury retail preferred)
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
- Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
- Proficiency with walkie-talkie communication and ability to read pricing and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Luxury retail background, social media expertise, and experience with live-stream shopping or video content creation (preferred)
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment, with demonstrated knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive positioning. A combination of relevant education and professional sales experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and sales experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Blackwood, New Jersey, USA, with easy access to Philadelphia.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
