Coach in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury retail service, drive omni-channel sales, and build client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently delivering service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Create personalised client experiences through styling advice, product expertise and relationship-building to drive loyalty and lifetime value.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, iPad/laptop systems, clienteling tools and social-selling channels (including short-form video) to capture customer data and close sales.
- Source and follow up with new customers, maintain client records and proactively convert prospects into repeat purchasers.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and adapting selling techniques to business needs.
- Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap and follow POS procedures.
- Support inventory and stockroom activities: receive shipments, replenish product, conduct inventory cycles and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Keep sales floor and stockroom organised and compliant with asset protection and retail policies.
- Support teammates across functional areas and participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities.
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanour, welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to improve performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and comfort using iPad/laptop-based mobile POS; ability to read price and release sheets.
- Social-media savvy with experience in live‑stream shopping or video demonstrations and familiarity with social selling techniques (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a retail environment.

Experience
At least one year of sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience and demonstrable success with clienteling, omni-channel selling and social commerce are preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
