Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale system to process sales, returns, exchanges and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform cash handling duties including cash drawer management, daily reconciliation and bank deposits following company cash-control policies.
  • Deliver exemplary client service and clienteling: welcome customers, respond to product enquiries, and support personalized selling to build long-term relationships.
  • Support inventory activities such as receiving, stock replenishment, visual merchandising standards and cycle counts.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, store opening/closing checklists and company compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet store sales targets and support promotional or events execution.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, hospitality or merchandising is advantageous.
  • Proven trustworthiness with handling cash and completing financial reconciliations.
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures precisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused orientation.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
