Coach Cashier role in Winnipeg, MB — $19–$22/hr. Fast-paced luxury retail position requiring POS expertise and customer service excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and serve as an Insider Program ambassador
- Engage customers at Cashwrap and in queue; assess needs and provide tailored solutions
- Capture customer information accurately and securely per compliance standards
- Complete end-of-shift audits; process returns, repairs, and damaged items in accordance with policy
- Maintain SKU accuracy, Cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards
- Suggest complementary products and actively promote gift card offerings
- Handle cash and payment media accurately; deliver purchases professionally
- Assist with cashier training and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaborative team engagement
- Maintain composure under pressure while multitasking and prioritizing effectively
- Communicate clearly and confidently; influence customer purchasing decisions
- Adapt responsively to customer needs while maintaining environmental awareness
- Master new systems quickly and demonstrate technical proficiency
- Uphold product knowledge, store policies, and procedural guidelines
- Represent Coach as a dedicated brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Experience with walkie-talkie communication and ability to read price and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including public holidays)
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience in retail environments; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape is advantageous. A combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or customer service is beneficial but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 22 per hour.
