The Cashier delivers friendly, accurate checkout service at Coach, promotes the Insider Program and add-on sales, and supports cashwrap operations and cashier development. This is a temporary, part-time role with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout, warmly greeting customers and creating a lasting impression.
- Represent the Insider Program and promote add-on sales and gift cards.
- Handle cash and media accurately and comply with all policies.
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods in accordance with company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean, monitor equipment, and promptly report issues.
- Assist with training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
