The Cashier delivers customer service at checkout, promotes the Insider Program, add-on sales and gift cards, maintains cashwrap accuracy and supports cashier training. This is a part-time temporary role with a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, peak season, public holidays and other high-traffic retail days.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout, greet customers warmly and create a lasting impression.
- Act as an ambassador for the Insider Program and promote add-on sales and gift cards.
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling and media management, and comply with all policies.
- Process returns, repairs and damaged goods in line with company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean, monitor equipment and promptly report issues.
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver through the sales floor and stockroom.
