Coach Cashier (part-time) in Vaughan, Ontario — deliver exceptional checkout service and support store operations at Coach, Vaughan Mills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, courteous and polished service at the cashwrap, creating a memorable brand experience for every customer.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; execute transactions, process returns, repairs and damaged-goods procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain strict cash-handling protocols, reconcile media and complete end-of-shift audits with management oversight.
- Promote the Insider Program, gift cards and complementary add-on sales to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Keep the cashwrap organised and operational; monitor POS hardware and report equipment issues to management.
- Support onboarding and ongoing coaching of cashiers to sustain service standards and operational consistency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail-facing roles; luxury retail background preferred.
- Demonstrable accuracy in cash handling, reconciliations and point-of-sale procedures.
- Proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Capability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine stockroom and floor duties.
Skills
Experience
At least one year in cashier or retail roles; candidates with prior luxury or premium retail experience will be prioritised. A combination of relevant education and demonstrable retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
