Coach Cashier position in Tsawwassen Mills, BC, Canada. Base pay $19.00–$22.00/hour. Full-time retail sales role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and act as an ambassador for the Insider Program loyalty initiative
- Engage customers at the cashwrap and assess their needs to provide tailored solutions
- Capture customer information accurately and securely in accordance with data protection policies
- Complete end-of-shift audits and process returns, repairs, and damaged items per brand guidelines
- Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards
- Suggest complementary products and actively promote gift cards to enhance transaction value
- Handle cash and payment media accurately while delivering purchases in a professional manner
- Assist with cashier training and promptly report equipment issues to management
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaborative spirit in all interactions
- Maintain composure under pressure while effectively multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and confidently to influence customer decisions positively
- Adapt service delivery to individual customer needs while maintaining environmental awareness
- Operate POS systems and other point-of-sale technology with confidence and technical aptitude
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and thorough understanding of store policies and procedures
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proven proficiency with POS systems and point-of-sale technology
- Basic computer competency including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS operation
- Familiarity with walkie-talkie communication systems and the ability to read price and release sheets
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, with luxury retail experience preferred. The candidate should demonstrate familiarity with fast-paced retail environments and possess a track record of delivering exceptional customer service. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered as an alternative to strict year requirements.
