Coach seeks a Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale while maintaining operational accuracy and supporting brand excellence. The role requires friendly, efficient checkout service, promotion of the Insider Program and gift card offerings, accurate cash handling, and processing of returns and repairs in compliance with company standards. This temporary, part-time position is ideal for candidates with retail or cashier experience seeking flexible scheduling in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout with warm greetings and genuine interactions that create lasting impressions aligned with Coach Service standards
- Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift card offerings to enhance customer lifetime value
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all financial and operational policies
- Process customer returns, repairs, and damaged merchandise according to company standards and complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap organized, clean, and properly stocked; monitor equipment functionality and report issues promptly to management
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service excellence and operational consistency
Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
One or more years of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience is preferred. A combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional formal education or relevant certifications may substitute for retail experience.

The successful candidate will be located in Texas City, Texas, USA, with easy access to Houston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
