Coach seeks a Temporary Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at the checkout, maintaining operational accuracy and supporting the retail team in a fast-paced luxury fashion environment. This position serves as a brand ambassador, processing transactions with precision while promoting the Insider Program and upholding Coach Service standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout by greeting customers warmly and creating lasting positive impressions
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining compliance with all policies and procedures
• Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift cards as a brand ambassador
• Manage cash handling, media management, and complete end-of-shift audits with management
• Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized cashwrap area; monitor equipment and report issues promptly
• Assist in training and mentoring fellow cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence
• Support the sales floor and stockroom operations as needed, including lifting merchandise up to 50 lbs occasionally

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in cashier or retail roles
• Luxury retail experience preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems and mobile technology
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Strong English language proficiency
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom spaces

Experience

1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
