Coach in Richmond, BC seeks a Part-time Cashier to manage POS transactions, cash handling and customer service at Designer Outlet Vancouver.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap and create a lasting brand impression.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, handle cash and media, and complete end-of-shift audits.
- Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales and gift cards to maximise transaction value.
- Process returns, repairs and damaged goods according to company standards and policies.
- Maintain an organised, clean cashwrap; monitor POS equipment and report issues promptly.
- Assist with training, mentoring and coaching other cashiers to uphold service and operational standards.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak periods and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
- Proven accuracy in cash handling and compliance with cash/media controls.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre stockroom and sales floor.
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of cashier or retail experience; experience in luxury or premium retail environments is preferred. A combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail training or certifications preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.85 to CAD 21 per hour.
