Coach in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario seeks a Part-time Cashier to manage POS transactions, cash handling and client service at Outlet Collection at Niagara.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient, and accurate customer service at the cashwrap; greet customers and create a lasting, brand-consistent impression.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system to process purchases, returns, repairs, and damaged-goods transactions per company policy; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
  • Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift cards to drive incremental revenue and client engagement.
  • Maintain strict accuracy in cash handling and media management; enforce compliance with company cash-control procedures.
  • Keep the cashwrap organized and presentable; monitor POS equipment and report technical or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting other cashiers to uphold service standards and operational excellence.
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Perform routine physical duties on the sales floor and in the stockroom; routinely lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and maneuver stock.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer skills.
  • Proven cash handling accuracy and ability to follow cash-control policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment and to maintain composure during peak periods.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
