Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, processing sales, returns and exchanges while maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Manage cash, card and other payment transactions; perform opening and closing till procedures and daily cash reconciliation.
- Deliver elevated client experiences by assisting with product enquiries, suggesting complementary items and supporting store clienteling initiatives.
- Support inventory control and stockroom procedures, including receipt of merchandise, tagging and basic stock replenishment on the sales floor.
- Maintain store presentation standards and visual merchandising as directed, ensuring luxury brand presentation at all times.
- Uphold loss-prevention protocols, report discrepancies and follow company security procedures.
- Collaborate with store colleagues to meet sales targets and contribute to a smooth, service-driven retail operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience handling cash and operating POS systems in a retail environment; experience with premium or luxury brands preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service training advantageous.
- Demonstrable customer-service orientation with polished communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and integrity in cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
