Coach is hiring a Cashier in New York to deliver premium client service and accurate POS transactions for its retail store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately to process sales, returns, exchanges, gift cards and other payment types.
  • Maintain cash drawer integrity through timely reconciliation, accurate cash handling and adherence to cash controls.
  • Deliver exceptional client service through attentive, personalised interactions and effective problem resolution.
  • Support visual merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure the sales floor meets brand presentation standards.
  • Execute loss prevention procedures, observe suspicious activity and follow company security protocols.
  • Assist with receiving, tagging and organizing incoming merchandise and supporting inventory counts.
  • Manage transaction paperwork and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies.
  • Contribute to a collaborative store environment by supporting colleagues during peak periods and store events.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrable numeracy and strong attention to detail for accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first orientation.
  • Reliable availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods as required by retail schedules.
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods and to lift/deliver merchandise as needed.
