Coach is hiring a Cashier in New York to deliver premium client service and accurate POS transactions for its retail store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately to process sales, returns, exchanges, gift cards and other payment types.
- Maintain cash drawer integrity through timely reconciliation, accurate cash handling and adherence to cash controls.
- Deliver exceptional client service through attentive, personalised interactions and effective problem resolution.
- Support visual merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure the sales floor meets brand presentation standards.
- Execute loss prevention procedures, observe suspicious activity and follow company security protocols.
- Assist with receiving, tagging and organizing incoming merchandise and supporting inventory counts.
- Manage transaction paperwork and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies.
- Contribute to a collaborative store environment by supporting colleagues during peak periods and store events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrable numeracy and strong attention to detail for accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first orientation.
- Reliable availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods as required by retail schedules.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods and to lift/deliver merchandise as needed.

Experience
1–3 years of retail cashier or customer-facing sales experience, preferably in premium or luxury retail environments. Prior experience handling high-value transactions and following brand service standards is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional retail, hospitality or customer-service training is a plus.
