Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap and create a lasting brand impression.
  • Operate POS systems accurately; handle cash, cards and other payment media with strict adherence to company policies.
  • Promote the Insider loyalty program, gift cards and add-on sales to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
  • Process returns, repairs and damaged-goods transactions per company procedures and complete end-of-shift audits with management.
  • Maintain an organized, clean cashwrap; monitor and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new cashiers to uphold service standards and operational accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in cash handling and media management with adherence to loss-prevention procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), bend, kneel and move between sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
