Coach is hiring a part-time Cashier II in Vaughan, Ontario (Vaughan Mills) to deliver exceptional checkout service and accurate cash handling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient and brand-compliant service at the cashwrap to create lasting customer impressions.
  • Operate POS systems and mobile devices to process sales, returns, repairs and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
  • Promote the Insider loyalty program, gift cards and appropriate add-on sales to maximise transaction value.
  • Maintain strict accuracy in cash handling, media management and end-of-shift audits; report discrepancies immediately.
  • Keep the cashwrap area organised and operational; monitor equipment and notify management of issues.
  • Support training and mentoring of new cashiers to uphold service and operational standards.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention, compliance and merchandising procedures while assisting on the sales floor as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven proficiency with POS systems and mobile retail technology; competent with basic computer tasks.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with upselling experience (loyalty program and gift card promotion).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and navigate stockroom and sales floor.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

At least one year of hands-on cashier or retail experience with demonstrated accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing; previous exposure to luxury retail environments is an asset.

Education

The successful candidate will be located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
