Coach Cashier II in Kittery, Maine – Part-time luxury retail position offering POS and customer service excellence with competitive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout by greeting customers warmly and creating a lasting impression aligned with Coach Service standards
- Promote the Insider Program and drive add-on sales including gift cards and brand initiatives
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all financial policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company protocols and complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap organized, clean, and operational; monitor equipment and report any issues promptly to supervisors
- Assist in training and mentoring junior cashiers to ensure consistent service and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles
- Luxury retail experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and mobile technology
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard office software
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas

Experience
1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered equivalent.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; professional retail training or certifications are advantageous but not required.

The successful candidate will be located in Kittery, Maine, USA, with easy access to Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
