Coach is hiring a Cashier I in Pleasant Prairie, WI — join Tapestry's retail team delivering exceptional customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient, and brand‑aligned customer service at the cashwrap; greet customers and ensure a positive final impression.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; handle cash, payment media and electronic transactions in compliance with company procedures.
  • Promote the Insider loyalty program, add-on sales and gift cards to drive conversion and average transaction value.
  • Process returns, repairs and damaged-goods procedures per company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized cashwrap; monitor and report equipment issues to management promptly.
  • Assist in training, mentoring and coaching fellow cashiers to uphold service standards and operational accuracy.
  • Work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; perform regular stockroom and on-floor tasks that may require lifting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Demonstrable accuracy in cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile retail technology and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Flexible availability to cover nights, weekends, peak periods and holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
