Coach is hiring a Cashier I in Pleasant Prairie, WI — join Tapestry's retail team delivering exceptional customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient, and brand‑aligned customer service at the cashwrap; greet customers and ensure a positive final impression.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; handle cash, payment media and electronic transactions in compliance with company procedures.
- Promote the Insider loyalty program, add-on sales and gift cards to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Process returns, repairs and damaged-goods procedures per company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Maintain a clean, organized cashwrap; monitor and report equipment issues to management promptly.
- Assist in training, mentoring and coaching fellow cashiers to uphold service standards and operational accuracy.
- Work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; perform regular stockroom and on-floor tasks that may require lifting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrable accuracy in cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile retail technology and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Flexible availability to cover nights, weekends, peak periods and holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of experience in cashiering or retail roles; prior experience in luxury or premium retail environments is preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail-focused vocational training or coursework is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
