Coach seeks an experienced Lead Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at checkout while maintaining operational accuracy and upholding brand standards. This role combines point-of-sale proficiency with a commitment to the Coach Service excellence and the Insider Program, requiring the ability to process transactions, manage cash handling, train team members, and create memorable customer interactions in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout by greeting customers warmly and creating lasting brand impressions
- Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift cards as a brand ambassador
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with company policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to established standards; conduct end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep cashwrap organized, clean, and fully stocked; monitor equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to sustain service and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer applications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail background is preferred. A combination of relevant education and hands-on retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant retail training or certification considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Cypress, Texas, USA, with easy access to Houston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
