Coach is hiring a part-time Cashier I in New York. Entry-level retail role handling transactions, client service and store presentation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, exchanges and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service consistent with Coach luxury retail standards, including client greeting, product knowledge and follow-up.
  • Manage daily cash handling tasks: open/close tills, reconcile cash drawer, prepare deposits and report discrepancies.
  • Support floor operations through visual merchandising upkeep, stock replenishment and ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, company policies and local regulatory requirements for transactions and returns.
  • Assist with inventory counts, inbound stock processing and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Right to work in the United States.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills developed in a customer-facing environment.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak season shifts.

Experience
