Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient and brand‑consistent customer service at the cashwrap, creating a positive last impression for every client.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; manage payments, gift cards and promotional transactions while promoting the Insider loyalty program and add‑on sales.
  • Perform cash handling duties with strict adherence to media control procedures and company policies; complete end‑of‑shift audits with management.
  • Process returns, repairs and damaged goods according to company standards and escalate exceptions appropriately.
  • Maintain an organised, clean cashwrap; monitor equipment functionality and report issues to management promptly.
  • Support team development by assisting in training and mentoring other cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
  • Meet physical demands of the role: lift and move stock (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre between sales floor and stockroom.
  • Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as required by store traffic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer competency.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate cash handling and end‑of‑shift reconciliation.
  • Ability to work at pace in a high‑traffic retail environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role and maintain flexible availability.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in cashier or retail positions; previous experience in luxury or premium retail environments is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Education
