Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient and accurate point‑of‑sale service; greet customers, process purchases and complete payments at the cashwrap.
- Promote the Insider Program, gift cards and relevant add‑on items to drive attach rates and lifetime value.
- Maintain cash handling and media management accuracy; reconcile transactions and complete end‑of‑shift audits with management.
- Process returns, repairs and damaged‑goods transactions in accordance with company policy.
- Keep the cashwrap and associated equipment organized and operational; report maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in training, mentoring and coaching fellow cashiers to uphold service standards and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic retail environment and during peak periods.
- Strong verbal English proficiency.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; frequently climb, bend, kneel and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in cashier or retail roles. Experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred and may include responsibilities for transaction accuracy, cash reconciliation and customer engagement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
