The Cashier delivers efficient, friendly checkout service at Coach, promotes the Insider Program and supports accurate cashwrap operations, compliance and cashier development. This is a temporary, part-time role with a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional checkout service by warmly greeting customers and creating a lasting impression.
- Represent the Insider Program and promote add-on sales and gift cards.
- Handle cash and media accurately and comply with all policies.
- Process returns, repairs and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean, monitor equipment and promptly report issues.
- Assist with training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; climb, bend, kneel and maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
