Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cash operations and lead the cashier team to ensure efficient, accurate point-of-sale service.
- Perform register opening and closing procedures, reconcile tills, prepare deposit documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Train and mentor cashiers on POS usage, refunds/exchanges, cash-handling best practices and customer service standards.
- Enforce loss-prevention policies, report suspicious activity, and maintain adherence to company cash-control procedures.
- Collaborate with store management to implement merchandising initiatives, sales promotions and operational priorities.
- Generate and review sales and cash reports to identify trends, issues and opportunities for process improvement.
- Deliver elevated client service, resolve escalated customer concerns at the point of sale, and support clienteling efforts.
- Support staffing and scheduling decisions for the cashier team during peak periods and special events.

- Demonstrable ability to lead a small team in a high-volume retail environment.
- Proven proficiency with cash reconciliation and point-of-sale procedures.

Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail cashier experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity; experience in premium or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, business or hospitality coursework is a plus.
