Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day cashier operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing at the point of sale.
  • Conduct cash reconciliation, daily deposits and variance investigations; maintain strict cash-handling controls and documentation.
  • Train, mentor and schedule cashier team members to deliver consistent, elevated client service aligned with brand standards.
  • Oversee returns, exchanges and refunds in compliance with company policy while protecting revenue and minimizing loss.
  • Partner with store leadership to support sales targets, loss prevention initiatives and exceptional clienteling throughout the store.
  • Manage opening and closing cash procedures and perform regular cash audits and spot checks.
  • Resolve escalated client issues at the register with diplomacy and brand-appropriate service recovery.
  • Support visual merchandising and store operations as needed to maintain a premium retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail or hospitality preferred.
  • Proven experience in a retail cashier role with at least 1 year of supervisory or lead responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable accuracy in cash handling and experience with reconciliation and deposit procedures.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach and develop frontline staff.

Experience
