Coach seeks a Temporary Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale while maintaining operational accuracy and brand integrity. This role requires efficient cash handling, accurate transaction processing, and active promotion of the Insider Program and add-on sales, with flexibility to work peak seasons, nights, weekends, and public holidays across a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout; greet customers warmly and create a lasting impression
- Act as an ambassador for the Insider Program; promote add-on sales and gift cards
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and compliance with all policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods per company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep cashwrap organized and clean; monitor equipment and report issues promptly
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles (luxury retail experience preferred)
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high-traffic retail days
