Coach Café Manager position in Shanghai. Oversee operations, manage staff, and drive profitability at Coach Shanghai Daimaru café.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations, including staff management, inventory monitoring, and customer satisfaction assurance
- Manage staff scheduling and coordinate rapid replacement coverage for absent or ill employees
- Monitor budgetary performance and identify cost-reduction opportunities while expanding the customer base
- Conduct inventory audits of coffee supplies and arrange procurement of replenishment stock as needed
- Engage directly with patrons to address inquiries, resolve complaints regarding food quality and service, and implement corrective actions
- Propose new menu items based on customer preferences and feedback
- Develop and execute strategies to improve customer retention and acquisition
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of leadership experience in food service or hospitality industry
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams to meet and exceed performance standards
- Flexibility to accommodate varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid food handling permit and comprehensive knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
