Coach seeks a Barista to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving sales within the brand's integrated coffee shop environment. The successful candidate will master espresso machine operation, menu knowledge, and product recommendations, while maintaining food safety standards and contributing to visual merchandising and store performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth, creating memorable experiences that reflect the Coach brand
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage
- Drive sales by promoting beverages, food, and merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited-availability items
- Prepare handcrafted beverages using espresso machines, grinders, and ovens with operational excellence
- Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising to maintain visual standards
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share selling strategies
- Manage cash handling and operate food and beverage operating systems
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting (preferred)
- Experience in customer-facing roles with demonstrated sales ability
- Organizational skills and proficiency with food and beverage operating systems
- Knowledge of food safety and cash handling procedures
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting is preferred. Customer-facing experience with demonstrated ability to drive sales and delegate tasks is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no specific higher education required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18 per hour.
