Coach Barista position at Woodbury Common Coffee Shop in Central Valley, New York; part-time role with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable experiences and establishing rapport
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage
- Meet sales goals by promoting beverages, food items, and related merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited availability products
- Support floor sets, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages and food items; maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to solve operational problems and share selling strategies
- Lift and maneuver products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally, and 25 lbs regularly; climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles
- Proficiency with food and beverage operating systems
- Knowledge of food safety and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days

Experience

Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
