Coach Barista role in Tinton Falls, NJ | $15–$18/hour, part-time, café and retail sales position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable experiences and establishing rapport
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, Coach merchandise, and brand heritage
- Meet sales goals by promoting beverages, food items, and Coach products; customize orders and highlight limited-availability merchandise
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages to specification
- Support floor sets, replenishment activities, and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, adhering to all operational protocols
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share effective selling strategies
- Work flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic periods
Qualifications
- Prior barista or café experience preferred
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Proficiency with food and beverage operating systems
- Ability to meet store operating policies and food safety standards
- Cash handling competency
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
- Capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
