Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and authenticity, creating memorable experiences and anticipating their needs
- Prepare handcrafted beverages following recipe standards and customer preferences, operating espresso machines, grinders, and ovens
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage to inform product recommendations
- Identify and execute upselling opportunities by educating guests on customization options (alternative milks, extra shots, larger sizes) and limited-availability items
- Meet individual and store sales goals by actively promoting beverages, food, and merchandise options
- Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising standards to maintain brand-compliant aesthetic
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workplace, adhering to proper sanitation and food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems, share selling strategies, and ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café/food service setting is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic mathematical competency for handling transactions and cash management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and climb, bend, kneel
