Role & Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests with warmth and authenticity, creating memorable experiences and anticipating their needs
• Prepare handcrafted beverages following recipe standards and customer preferences, operating espresso machines, grinders, and ovens
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage to inform product recommendations
• Identify and execute upselling opportunities by educating guests on customization options (alternative milks, extra shots, larger sizes) and limited-availability items
• Meet individual and store sales goals by actively promoting beverages, food, and merchandise options
• Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising standards to maintain brand-compliant aesthetic
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workplace, adhering to proper sanitation and food safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems, share selling strategies, and ensure seamless guest experiences

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a barista or in a café/food service setting is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic mathematical competency for handling transactions and cash management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and climb, bend, kneel

Skills

Experience

Prior barista or café experience is preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong customer service backgrounds and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education requirement specified.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18 per hour.
