Coach Barista position in Shanghai Daimaru café; luxury fashion house seeking passionate coffee professional with 3+ years experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests; communicate daily specials and new products; answer inquiries and process orders and payments
- Prepare beverages including grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving to guests according to quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work and dining areas; restock supplies; clean, sanitize, and organize equipment and utensils
- Update signage and refresh merchandise displays to attract and engage guests
- Monitor and replenish display cases and counter inventory
- Adhere strictly to all food safety regulations and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional food and beverage preparation experience
- Professional barista background or SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certification preferred
- Demonstrated passion for specialty coffee with ability to communicate bean origins and flavor profiles
- Excellent listening and communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Polished, professional demeanor with genuine hospitality instincts
