Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages to Coach quality standards, consistently delivering precise extraction and presentation.
- Provide polished, client-focused service that reflects luxury-brand expectations and enhances the in-store guest experience at Shanghai Disney.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers and other beverage equipment; perform routine cleaning and light maintenance.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, cash handling and order accuracy while adhering to company procedures.
- Maintain stock levels for coffee, milk, condiments and disposables; assist with inventory counts and receiving deliveries.
- Adhere to local food safety, hygiene and allergen protocols; ensure the café area and back-of-house remain immaculate.
- Support store visual standards and merchandising as required; collaborate with retail team during peak periods and special events.
Qualifications
- Local food safety / hygiene certificate (preferred or required according to Shanghai regulations).
- Proven ability to produce consistent espresso extraction and basic latte art.
- Fluent Mandarin; professional working proficiency in English preferred for interactions with international guests.
- Strong numeracy and cash-handling integrity.
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays and peak park days.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years of hands-on experience in a café, speciality coffee shop, or high-volume hospitality environment; prior experience serving upscale or international clientele is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or vocational qualification; vocational training in hospitality or barista courses is advantageous.
