Coach (Tapestry) in Central Valley, NY seeks a part-time Barista II at Woodbury Common to deliver exceptional guest service. $15–$18/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, personalised guest engagement to create memorable in-store café experiences and support brand affinity.
  • Prepare handcrafted beverages and light food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens while adhering to established recipes and portion controls.
  • Drive sales by promoting beverages, food and select merchandise; customise orders and highlight limited-availability or seasonal items.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and floor set standards, support replenishment and keep the café presentation aligned with store directives.
  • Ensure operational excellence through rigorous cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation practices; perform routine opening, closing and inventory tasks.
  • Operate POS and cash-handling procedures accurately and comply with store operating policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with store colleagues to resolve guest issues, share selling strategies and contribute to a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior barista or café experience preferred; demonstrable skill operating espresso equipment and preparing beverages.
  • Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to sell, customise orders and manage customer expectations.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and cash-handling procedures; ability to follow store operating standards.
  • Organisational aptitude for multitasking in a high-traffic retail environment; comfortable learning POS and food & beverage operating systems.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays; ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Experience
