Coach Barista role in New York, NY. Prepare beverages, drive sales, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at Hudson Yards. $15–$18/hour, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable experiences and representing the Coach brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage to inform customer interactions
- Meet sales goals by promoting beverages, food, and merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited availability items
- Prepare handcrafted beverages by operating espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to specification
- Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising to maintain brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with store operating policies and regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members to solve problems, share selling strategies, and support store operations
- Handle cash and operate point-of-sale and food & beverage systems accurately
Qualifications
- Prior barista or café experience preferred
- Experience in customer-facing roles and task delegation
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with food & beverage operating systems
- Demonstrated ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including food safety and cash handling
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting is preferred. Experience in customer-facing roles and delegating tasks is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18 per hour.
