Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient guest service and cultivate memorable in-store experiences at the Westgate Coffee Shop.
  • Prepare handcrafted espresso-based beverages and menu items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
  • Promote beverages, food and Coach merchandise to meet and exceed daily sales targets; customize orders and highlight limited items.
  • Uphold visual merchandising and store standards through floor sets, replenishment and stockroom organization.
  • Maintain operational excellence: enforce food safety protocols, cleanliness standards and accurate cash handling.
  • Collaborate with store colleagues to share selling strategies, resolve customer issues and support peak-period operations.

Qualifications

  • Prior barista or café experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles; comfortable delegating or coordinating tasks during busy periods.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks: regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and high-traffic retail days.
