Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, professional guest engagement and create memorable in-store experiences.
  • Prepare handcrafted beverages and light food using espresso machines, grinders and ovens while maintaining consistent quality.
  • Drive sales by promoting beverages, food and merchandise and by highlighting limited-availability items.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and floor standards through replenishment and support of store floor sets.
  • Ensure operational excellence by adhering to food safety, cleanliness, cash-handling and store operating policies.
  • Collaborate with store team members to solve problems, share selling strategies and support peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles; comfortable engaging a diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with food safety procedures and cash-handling protocols.
  • Organizational skills and ability to operate food & beverage systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), bend, climb and maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
