Coach in Elizabeth, NJ seeks a part-time Barista (Jersey Gardens) — $15–$18/hr. Deliver exceptional guest service and prepare handcrafted beverages.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional guest engagement to create memorable in-store experiences and drive sales of beverages, food and select merchandise.
- Prepare handcrafted beverages using espresso machines, grinders and ovens, following recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain deep product and brand knowledge to upsell limited availability items and customize guest orders.
- Support visual merchandising, floor sets and replenishment to uphold store presentation standards.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining cleanliness, following food safety protocols, and performing cash handling and point-of-sale transactions.
- Collaborate with store team members to share selling strategies, solve problems and meet store performance goals.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to delegate and coordinate basic tasks.
- Familiarity with food safety requirements and cash-handling procedures.
- Organizational aptitude and ability to operate food & beverage systems and equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy retail periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in sales floor and stockroom environments.

Experience
Prior barista or café experience is preferred; proven customer-facing experience and familiarity with foodservice operations are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
