Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional guest engagement and create memorable in-store café experiences.
- Prepare handcrafted beverages and food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Drive sales by promoting beverages, food and in-store merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited-availability items.
- Support visual standards through floor sets, replenishment and visual merchandising tasks.
- Maintain operational excellence including cleanliness, food safety, cash handling and compliance with store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems, share selling strategies and support a high-traffic retail environment.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting and stockroom replenishment as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles and in delegating or coordinating tasks.
- Familiarity with food & beverage operating systems and point-of-sale procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and cash-handling best practices.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver in sales-floor and stockroom environments.

Experience
Prior barista or café experience is preferred; candidates should have demonstrated customer-facing experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
