Coach in Cabazon, CA seeks a part-time Barista to operate the Cabazon coffee shop, deliver exceptional service and support retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests warmly, creating memorable, brand-aligned customer experiences.
- Prepare handcrafted beverages and food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens to Coach food & beverage standards.
- Drive store sales by promoting beverages, food and merchandise and by customizing guest orders; highlight limited-availability items.
- Support visual merchandising and floor sets, perform replenishment and maintain retail presentation standards.
- Maintain operational excellence including cleanliness, food safety compliance and accurate cash handling.
- Collaborate with colleagues to solve operational issues, share selling strategies and meet store performance goals.
Qualifications
- Prior barista or café experience preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles and basic supervisory/delegation experience.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and high-traffic retail days.
- Able to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Experience
Prior experience as a barista or in a café environment is preferred; demonstrated success in customer-facing retail or hospitality roles and familiarity with food safety and cash-handling procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
