Coach seeks a part-time Barista in Cabazon, California to prepare handcrafted beverages and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Engage guests with warm, memorable service and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Prepare handcrafted beverages and light food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge — including menu items, merchandise and Coach heritage — to inform and inspire guests.
- Drive sales by promoting beverages, food and in-store merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited-availability items.
- Support visual merchandising and floor sets, perform replenishment and ensure attractive presentation of the shop.
- Ensure operational excellence through cleanliness, adherence to food safety procedures and correct cash handling.
- Collaborate with store team members to solve problems, share selling strategies and maintain service continuity.
- Adhere to store policies and maintain physical readiness for lifting (regularly 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and routine stockroom duties.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café environment preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles and in delegating or coordinating tasks.
- Organizational skills and familiarity with food & beverage operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with food safety standards and cash-handling procedures.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for the role (lifting, bending, climbing).
Skills
Experience
Prior barista or café experience is preferred; candidates should have experience in customer-facing roles and be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and coordinating tasks with colleagues.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18 per hour.
