Coach seeks a Barista in Austin, Texas for part-time role at The Domain Coffee Shop. Base pay $15–$18/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable and personalized experiences
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise assortment, and Coach brand heritage
- Exceed sales goals by promoting beverages, food items, and merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited-availability offerings
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages to brand standards
- Support floor sets, replenishment activities, and visual merchandising initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to solve operational challenges and share effective selling strategies
Qualifications
- Prior barista or café experience preferred
- Proven experience in customer-facing retail roles
- Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and work collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, public holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
Skills
Experience
Prior experience as a barista or in a café or food-service setting is preferred. Experience in customer-facing roles with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is essential.
