The Barista delivers exceptional guest experiences and contributes to store sales by promoting Coach beverages, food and merchandise while representing the brand professionally. The role includes preparing handcrafted beverages, maintaining food safety and visual standards, and collaborating with the team; it is part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests warmly, creating memorable experiences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, merchandise and Coach brand heritage.
- Meet sales goals by promoting beverages, food and merchandise, customizing orders and highlighting items with limited availability.
- Support floor sets, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards; operate espresso machines, grinders and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share selling strategies.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting is preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and delegating tasks.
- Organizational skills and the ability to work with food and beverage operating systems.
- Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including food safety and cash handling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
