Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New York, NY to support store operations, lead sales teams and deliver luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations to ensure the store meets brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Lead and coach sales associates to deliver exceptional clienteling and personalized service, driving sales KPIs and average transaction value.
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure presentation aligns with seasonal directives and brand guidelines.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss-prevention procedures to protect gross margin.
- Prepare staff schedules, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, and conduct performance feedback and development conversations.
- Execute operational tasks including cash handling, POS reconciliation, daily reporting and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop a sales team.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Organizational ability to manage store operations, inventory and administrative duties with attention to detail.
